Made in Canada history

"Made In Canada", still seeing people trying to date Canadian iron and products in general using this 1960 rule - please don't do it and please let people know it's not the case.

"Made In Canada" actually started in the very early 1900's, it was a battle cry due to the United States manufacturing and sales processes after a small financial depression around 1900. US salesmen started invading Canada to hawk their iron wares. I'll get into it later but "Made in Canada" was never forced upon companies in Canada - but it did help get better sales. Made in Canada by Canadian labor. The attached image is from 1919. Now when companies started stamping or labelling their products is anyone's guess. McClary started doing it on GSW products in the early 1930's.
