We used to cook them in pork fat, but too much salt for me these days &#8211; just a bit of salted butter and oil with a touch of salt. Most times I&#8217;ll stuff them with whatever &#8211; tomato sauce, meat and cheeze etc. Or just cook up plain old bread dough &#8211; with maple syrup or salt, wonderful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Making &quot;toutans&quot; plain and stuffed in cast. So simple but you&#039;ll love them. Flour, salt, yeast and water.
